All Shook Up

Last night I got the honours to go to a music/drama performance all shook up with the sweetest guy ever! He will be heading off to BYU in the fall so it was time for one of our last shenanigans!
Kevin is like a big brother to me, he's always watching out for me and has the best advice, I can always count on him :) I had so much fun, and it was awesome just to be able to get out!
Thanks kev, for seriously always having my back! Love ya!!

Rotating tires

Well, I'm bored waiting for my tires to get rotated with my dad so why not blog about it.... I seriously hate instagram I have one but haven't used it since January and adding so many pictures onto facebook gets annoying so I just add this to my blog because whoever wants to see it can but if you don't care then you probably don't have a blog for a reason....
My dad is my pal and always watching out for me. Sometimes I'm a brat and don't show my appreciation other than on fathers day (not really) but today is not fathers day and I'd like to say I have the best dad in the entire world! I love him so much and am grateful for everything he has done for me. Whether its him taking us on vacation or making us do stupid stuff cause '"it's fun" or teaching me how to drive or even just staining the deck together. I'd say my dad is pretty cool! Love you pops! :)

Camping with the in-laws!

These past couple days I went camping with Jordan's family. Even though they technically aren't my in-laws.... yet.... I had a blast!
Last year I went camping with them when Jordan invited me and this year they asked me to tag along so there was no way I was saying no! They camp in Waterton National Park here in Southern Alberta.
The first night we were there we hiked bears hump in the dark and once we were at the top we all turned on the strobes of our flashlights and shined then on the Park we got a few replies back and it was so much fun!
Day two we drove over Logan Pass and then went to Avalanche lake hiked in and fished for a few hours! Then made our journey home after a quick trip to Costco!!!
Day three we got to sleep in and have a very nice relaxing day. Bethany (Jordans sister) and I biked through the Park and stopped at all the girft shops in the morning. We got matching robot rings! Then we decided to go horse back riding and we had to bike there uphill both ways!! But on the horse back ride it was so funny. This girl that we didn't know came on the trail ride with us and we hadn't even made it out of the area they tie the horses up and she got bucked off! She was ok thankfully so they got her a new horse and we started on our way again! We took the horses to the lake and we waited there for a few minutes to let them drink from the water and the same girl different horse wanted to take a bath so down it went and the poor girl got a bath too! it was a fairly eventful ride, but the girl was ok and totally a trooper!
Because of work I had to go home early :(
But I had so much fun while I was there and I don't think I could ever thank the Lamb family enough for their kindness, hospitality, and everything that they do for me! I think of them as my second family, if I'm not with my family I'm with them. I am so grateful that accept me and bring me along to a lot of places! In two weeks I will be going to Arizona with Bethany and Margo and Margo's sister for a girls trip! They are the best and I love and appreciate them so much!

6 years of friendship. That's real love...

I've been babysitting these munchkins since there was only two of them, they have become my best friends! I look forward to nights with them, and now that they are all old enough we can practically do anything which is ever better!
Because of them I learned who scaredy squirrel was, how to speak cat, to remember to wear socks, and most importantly how to have fun and be serious at the same time! And much more over 6 years! I love these kids to pieces! However: this love is not mutual. Two of them have guns to my head ;)

Should have been born in the 60's

Last night my cousin invited me to a dance out of town (probably because he needed a ride, but hey I got 20 bucks and the best ever homemade curry chicken rolls, so why not right?!?!?!)

The theme of the dance was hippie themed and for anyone that knows me I wish I was born in the 60's but I guess the 90's will do...
There was probably 30 people at this dance and the boys I danced with were all 15 except for one! And HE WASN'T EVEN CUTE!!! But hey, my outfit was cute. So no big :) it was cool! One more day down till my man gets home!
