Happy weekend

Well this weekend was my birthday, Valentine's Day and my cousins baby blessing. It was nice and relaxing! I have always hated my birthday being on Valentine's Day. It's just so dumb!! Especially as I have gotten older and there is no difference between the two. It's just a two in one for Jordan ;) like I mean I have to give him something on my birthday........ Its probably a good thing I love him so much!
Friday was good though, my best friend came home, and I haven't seen her since Christmas break so I was excited to see her! We had pizza for dinner then we went to Wal-Mart and got matching pajamas for later. We went to a movie and then went and hung out with her family. We then stayed up until 730 the next morning. A long talk was well needed.

Kim and I got matching pajamas because we thought that it would be fun, and we went to the mall to get the photo booth pictures to be cute, and look. I think we succeeded. Macey and I got pictures together, and some were nice and some were goofy, I cant help but laugh every time that i look at this picture!!!
Margo had a good day, and she is getting so big!! And the Sully costume from monsters inc. is the best thing ever!!!
Also, a picture with my aunts, who are awesome and I love them so much!!!

My Joy

I find Joy in very few things. I was taught in seminary a couple years ago that JOY IS ETERNAL. Joy is something that brings you closer to God, it makes you happy and it makes you a better person. Joy is in everyones lives, they just have to find what brings them to it.

For me the first on my list is WRITING. I write in my journal every day, I blog, I write Jordan, I write thank you notes, I take notes everywhere I go. Classes, church, seminary, conversations with random people or even with people I know. I fill my brain with knowledge hoping for insight into whatever it is I am looking for.

My second one is my FAMILY. I take them all for granted. Since I was in grade 4 we have taken a family vacation somewhere at least once a year. We have been across the whole United States because of it. And it makes me happy to be able to spend days with them and only them leaving our phones at home. My heart was taken away by the Oregon Coast, and I know that I will go there every single time the opportunity comes up. It is peaceful and has a warmth of love there that I will never forget. My family is crazy, but they have shaped me.

The third  one is MY M's. Mikelle, Mylee, Mataya, and Mollie. They make me so happy, sometimes there is nothing I would rather do then go spend the weekend with them. They're happy, exciting, random, and full of life. Their mood swings are very spontaneous, but nothing makes me more happy than being with them. Playing whatever game they invented that day was.

Number 4 is READING. I havent always been a reader but the last year I have really spent a lot of time with my nose in a book. There is just something about it that brings out emotions that nothing else can. It takes you to a different reality, where you are able to forget about you, and everything that creates you and turn your focus elsewhere. Reading brings me joy

My 5th and final one is JORDAN.. But He brings me the most joy! There are no words in which I can use to describe the Joy he brings me. And I don't think I will ever will. I love him as much as my Heart will love. So I think that I will leave it at that.

All of these things have made me who I am today, and without them, I really would be no one.
