So, I'm gonna try to start over again. I'm not really good at this blog thing. But hey everyone loves fresh starts!
It looks like it's been a while since I've been on here.
It looks like my last published post was in March. and it's now October so a lot has happened..
I got into the Nursing program
Jordan came home
We vacationed to BC
I started a new job
I got engaged
I saw Taylor Swift in concert
I got married
I went on a cruise to Mexico
I went to the columbia icefields
Started nursing
And spent my first thanksgiving married away from my husband. Yes husband. That's kind of weird to say. But I'm getting used to it. And I'm slowly getting used to my last name. I never thought my last name would be the same as an animal but hey I dont mind it.. I'm slowly becoming a Lamb. I renewed my license so as soon as that comes in the mail I get to finally change everything!
Jordan coming home was the best thing ever. I never thought that the 2 years would come to an end. I dated while he was gone I had boyfriends I stayed up way too late every night and probably didn't do as good as I could of in college but that's life right! YSA was a blast and I made so many friends I don't really regret any of it but life got about 100xs better when Jordan came home. We didn't waste any time. Honestly after a month it was like he had never left. We got engaged on May 28 and headed for BC for 10 days the day after. We went back to 2 of the areas that Jordan served and it was so fun! I loved the people there and I truly fell in love with my fiance even more that trip.
This past summer I worked with my uncle at a car rental place and it was so fun! The hours were great because I was done early enough that I could spend my evenings with Jordan! Planning a wedding... Which was probably the craziest thing of my life. Planning a wedding is hard. And maybe I should make a post just about the wedding because it was a huge hit. I loved every minute of it! It was truly a perfectly magical day.
For Christmas last year for Jordan I bought him and I Taylor Swift tickets. Jordan is probably her biggest fan and she was coming to Edmonton for August long so we couldn't miss out and it was totally awesome. Jordan definitely enjoyed it more than me but I loved it! I had so much fun and I got to spend it all with the love of my life!
We got married August 21 and then the following day we went on our cruise. We flew to LA and on the 23 we got on our ship and sailed away for 5 days. It was quick but such a nice relaxing time. We came home and the following day we went to Jordan's cousins wedding and on our way we went to the Columbia icefields. Which is a glacier and it was so cool! Freezing cold and it was basically blizzarding when we were on it but it was something I had never done before and I thought it was pretty sweet!
Now I have started Nursing school and I love every day!! I have made so many new and great friends. It's kind of exciting knowing I get to spend the next few years with awesome people! I start clinical next week and I finally get to be out in the work place. My exams and assignments have been going great so I can't really complain yet!
Life is a whirlwind, but at least I have my best friend on my side to join me!
